From the error message provided, I presume you are encountering the problems on the Excel application when working with the files stored in the online location like OneDrive. Given the state of affairs, I advise you perform the following steps and check the behavior:

1. Open up the Excel application and sign-out from all the Office 365 account which are continued to the application. (Remove all the connected services)

2. Later on signing out, quit all the Function applications that are opened.

iii. Open the Control Panel> User Accounts> Credential Manager> Windows Credential> Remove the credentials of Microsoft Function.

iv. Press Windows logo fundamental +R and blazon regedit to open Registry Editor.

five. From Registry Editor, browse to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Part\16.0\Common\Identity\Identities

Moreover, can I know whether you are opening the files from the OneDrive synced binder or direct from the Online using Open up in app? If you are opening from the OneDrive synced folder, please check whether "Utilize Part applications to sync Role files that I open" is checked in the OneDrive application:

Click on the OneDrive icon in the taskbar> Help & Settings> Settings> Office tab> If it's unchecked, check it and click OK> Re-open up the files to check the behavior.

I have tried the in a higher place steps and restarted my computer. However, I nevertheless cannot sign in. It stated that "sign in required - we can't upload or download your changes because your cached credentials have expired." I am opening from the OneDrive synced binder and the checkbox is checked. Do I need to remove my OneDrive Cached credentials? I simply removed Microsoft Business relationship credential in Stride 3.

Update: I accept tried to remove i drive credentials as well and information technology still didn't work. I cannot sign in. Should I try deleting the identity folder in Footstep 5?

Yes, you need to delete the Identities folder in Step 5, and please brand sure you accept finished all the steps.

No. I meant I have deleted the subfolder of Identities as specified which is contained in Identity folder. But the problem is however not resolved. Should I delete the Identity folder too?

You lot no need to delete the Identity folder later on removing Identities folder.

Since issue persists, I propose you try to use this tool to completely remove the Reset Microsoft 365 Apps activation state by using OLicenseCleanup.vbs Just download and run the script with elevated privileges.

Then check whether it volition set this effect.

I have tried running OLicenseCleanup.vbs. At start, information technology worked and I was signed in. But after a few seconds, the same upshot persists. I was not able to sign in again even though I could verify my part subscription. What should I exercise next?

I do not know what happened but when I turned on my computer this morning, information technology told me to verify my Microsoft account. After doing so, the sign in issue is resolved and I can sign in to Office 365 on my desktop.

I take received the cached credentials expired find also.

The data provided here was very unhelpful. Farther, my Office 365 account, for which I paid in society to get a live person for aid, has at present gone online and there is no way to get existent aid.

What should I do? I am unable to save whatsoever files on either Ane Drive or to my PC.

I am having the same issue.  Tried everything suggested above and no modify.  I click 'Sign in' on excel, enter my e-mail, and nil happens.  This only seems to exist an effect on Excel, Windows is fine.
