Problem removing battery
Ryobi One +. Runs well and does the job BUT the battery is near impossible to remove, a big markdown. This is with both the large and small batteries. I would love to hear of a fix or should I just return it to the store.?

continual line failure
Have Ryobi line trimmer RLT36b33. Have tried many types of line and purchased Ryobi Pro Cut line spool. All line fails immediately its used. Spend $$$ trying to find a solution. Should be illegal to sell products that are know to fail or that are not designed to do a reasonable job.

Whipper sniper works well on small jobs
This is almost the ideal whipper sniper for most jobs around a small garden. Trims quite long grass ( perhaps 10 cm dry) but definitely not long, thick grass, blackberries etc. Battery lasts at least 30 minutes with continuous use. The only fault is that the battery is extremely hard to remove - a couple of women tried and simply could not press the side release catches hard enough. Not good for elderly folk with arthritis! However it seems to be well made, cable easily loaded and cassettes can be re-loaded quickly.

RYOBI Line Trimmers fail at the cord spool. Ryobi products the highest percentage of landfill of all gardening tools.
After the spool of my 3rd line trimmer failed over 5 years NOTE I have only purchased 1 line trimmer and keep getting a replacement from Bunnings. I took my cash refund instead of lining up for my 4th inferior product.
I would think Bunnings must own RYOBI...no other stores stock them!

Horrible, line keeps getting spooled into the machine
This is a horrible whipper snipper. The line continually gets spooled into the motor itself. I returned one to Bunnings and received a replacement, but the same thing is happening. A simple Google of videos found one labelled "fatal flaw of One+ whipper snipper", that is, I'm not the only one!
It gets worse. When I clicked the auto-feed, the line flew off and cut my ankle. Who knows where else it could have flown. Thankfully, I was wearing googles!
When it works, it's fine. Not as efficient as my old Bosch Combitrim which has a quick insert ...
Read more wing-shaped line - no mess no fuss and certainly won't get stuck in the motor. The only plus point about this is that I can share the battery and charger across the entire ONE+ line, and it's relatively light.

Ryobi OLT1830
Bought this at Bunnings, so got the extra 4yrs warranty (total 6yrs).
It was bundled with 5amp battery, so plenty of life.
It okay with a good lawn, but, once you hit the thicker weeds or grass it struggles. Took off that stupid safety cover as it is too big. Why they decide to put something that large on I don't know. Plus I prefer a bump and feed head. It is a pain trying to keep it going without stopping it so you don't end up with too much line which causes the motor to struggle cutting the grass.

Not suitable for edging
I bought this to edge the nature strip in front of my house and some parts of my lawn. Somehow it just doesn't have the power to do edging. The line keeps breaking. The replacement line is even worse, and I can't find a replacement line that is as thick as the OEM line. I have spent quite a bit of time each time to stop, pull out the spool, and start again. The autofeed works half the time, but if the line breaks at the very end, autofeed doesn't help. The battery and charger is fine. The trimmer itself seems ok. but overall it doesn't help me to get the job done.

Good for a very small yard....
I bought this as my first Battery Trimmer..
Thinking this would be sufficient for my new yard..
Sadly No... I am going to upgrade to the bigger Battery Trimmer....
It is very light and easy to use.. And I was running a 4.0Ah Battery and it did yard..
Just doesn't give me the finish i want..
I know I sound picky... Well Yeah I am.. I want my Yard to look as good as possible...

MORE CHINESE RUBBISH-DON'T BUY
Goes great for five seconds. Line breaks at string drum. Auto feed of line is theoretical and just a rumour. This trimmer has put me off all items sold by Ryobi so no more thanks. We can send a rocket to the moon and mars but cannot make a reliable lawn trimmer. Woe is the world!Don't buy folks!

Absolutely not you expect
Purchased around 6 months. Line gets tangled around shaft. Every time has to take off the battery and check the line and restore. The battery is sooooo difficult to take off. I trim the grass a time may require to take off the battery at least 5 times in order to check the line and and shaft without knowing what's wrong. The battery is to hard to take off. Just keep asking myself why I bought this model???
